# I received a 2015 Microsoft Azure MVP Award

It is with an immense pleasure that I got an email on October 1st 2015... The title was saying: **Congratulations 2015 Microsoft MVP!‏**, and inside:

> Dear Stephane Lapointe,

> Congratulations! We are pleased to present you with the 2015 Microsoft® MVP Award! This award is given to exceptional technical community leaders who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with others. We appreciate your outstanding contributions in Microsoft Azure technical communities during the past year.

It is really a good pat on the back from Microsoft for the efforts I've put into the Azure community. It is really rewarding to receive that award knowing that there is only around 4000 Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals worldwide.

I will continue that path and who knows... maybe I'll see that email again next year :D
